MCP presents the world premiere of Swiss composer Ivo Antognini’s The Guest House, and the American premiere of his full Stabat Mater, along with other incredible works. Antognini’s compositional style builds on the traditions established by Morten Lauridsen and Eric Whitacre but with a richly expanded harmonic intuition and a nuanced attention to text.
